The roadtrip across the country! The wacky misadventures that leave the pair naked by the river! The Biker Bar Incident! Handcuffed together and hiding out in the confessional because of the crosses! The European Underworld tour and the time they almost scored the Succubi Twins if it weren't for Baazelbub coming home early from that vacation!
This idea, this one right here, this is SOLID GOLD. I would love to play a game where my pal is a nocturnal supernatural badass, but we still just do random crap together. That would be AWESOME.
It should have an element of sexual ambiguity, too.
Like, it should have a scene or two of probably-straight-guy-kissing-probably-straight-vampire (a la y tu Mama Tambien or Everyday Heroes, except with a vampire).
Looking back, I think some of my only unambiguously happy memories of V:tM are of essentially this kind of thing. You may be onto something.
