It should have an element of sexual ambiguity, too.

Like, it should have a scene or two of probably-straight-guy-kissing-probably-straight-vampire (a la y tu Mama Tambien or Everyday Heroes, except with a vampire).

Looking back, I think some of my only unambiguously happy memories of V:tM are of essentially this kind of thing. You may be onto something.

Consequence-free indulgence of appetite, irresponsibility, giving the Man the finger, liberation from the annoying and mysterious demands of social propriety.... this IS an underrepresented facet of the vampire fantasy.
