Well, I just got through playing Polaris last weekend at AmberCon, and I enjoyed it immensely. I'm working on a full con report now.
The "giant robots" aspect isn't terribly compelling to me, but it would be an easy sell to my friend Bill in my regular gaming group, who's an anime fan and interested in more Forge-style RPGs. So sure, I'd do it.
No reason to do it as a favor to me. I've got plenty of playtesters. Just some folks read this who wouldn't have seen the calls for playtesters on the Forge and RPGnet.
Can you tell the guy to send me e-mail if he's interested?
I think I phrased the sentence wrong. I'm *not* hard up for playtesters. They are coming out of my ears. I just thought I'd offer 'cause several people read this journal who wouldn't have seen the previous playtester calls.
Mm. The reason I'd be asking is to see if the concept got anyone really excited, in which case we'd be playing the game for the primary purpoe of having fun. I like you, but you're not going to get good feedback from disinterested folks!

Want to? Yes. Have any chance in hell of being able to? Less certain.

I'll ask my newly-altered group.
