But is the use of violence absolutely required in those situations? I mean that exactly, ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED? That's what's Ron's saying, but I don't think so. There are ways those situations could be dealt with without resorting to the use or threat of physical violence.

Sure, the easiest way is to just beat the fuck out of you and toss your ass in jail, and the absolutely easiest way to deal with it is to just shoot you (be you meth dealer or tax evader), but those are by no means the only possible responses, or even the only possible responses to get what you want.

That's where the statement gets to me, that's where I find it and its associated rhetoric highly arguable.
