I had a dream about playing Polaris with my mother, or showing her the system. But it wasn't quite the same. You had these cards, that you bid in challenges. The clever thing, I think, was that the hidden hand of cards would influence the way you made statements, simply because you knew whether or not you could back them up.

I think the card-game played like Fist of the Assassin.

That sounds a bit like my SupaSekrit Card System.

...but it's SupaSekrit, so I've already said too much.

I've totally been dreaming about my game design lately. I don't usually remember my dreams and I've never dreamt anything "productive" before. I woke up with some angles on solutions to design problems. How cool. Except I slept terribly. I woke up feeling like I hadn't slept at all (and part of my brain hadn't, apparently). The dreams expose my enthusiasm for my project though!

Awesome! Verge looks really cool. I love Cyberpunk games a lot.

I've been meaning to do serious critique, but I've got, like, four other games on my plate already.

If I ever come through with writing it up (and by the way, I sweartogod I'm going to try soon, especially since I'll be visiting around home and the old game group for about three weeks next month), I'm going to use this to advertize it ;-)

"Fist of the Assassin is so good, people play it in their dreams!"
