No, I think what I'm trying to say is, in a "Conflict between the System and the GM, the GM wins". Why? Because while the system may be World's Best, it *cannot* be aware of all the variables that are acting on this particular game, nor can it be aware of any out-of-game constraints.

That doesn't mean Systems are useless, and you shouldn't use them - far from it. They're fun and add flavor to the story. They give context and meaning to challenges and situations. But they're tools. If they don't work in a given situation, for whatever reason, I have no compunction with laying them aside and doing what I consider to be best for the game.

The object of the game is to have fun. Usually. Sometimes the system gets in the way. I do not want to be forced to always follow the System, especially if I believe it will be to the detriment of the game.
