So, as soon as it looks like my journal is going to transform into gaming essay after gaming essay, I have this memory thing.

Post a memory you have of me. Then post this in your journal. See what people remember about you.

That writing workshop my sophomore year, where you, me, and wirednavi ended up having a wild philosophical debate over the nature of love and the value of romantic archetypes and whether or not anyone took Cosmopolitan seriously. It was pretty awesome.

The t-shirt: "Gravity--it's not just a good idea: it's the law!"

The movie: "DnD".

Oy.

You interviewing some random peasant in Ethos...the peasant who ended up being rather important to us.

Seeing your response to my last LJ posting. My face split into a big ol' grin, even though it took me two days to respond.

Okay, so it's not much of a memory. But if you're willing to continue the debate, it could become one!

This is the exchange of cushioned blows I mentioned earlier:

It was my first or second Aralis event, and I was a Spider assassin with a from-behind 4-damage crit. Which I got you with, and you went down. My internal monologue at that point was "Oh man oh man, OK, so I was like pretty much behind him, certainly at three-quarters or better, and I got him between the shoulder blades without like reaching around in some lame way . . . oh man oh man did I somehow cheese that anyway?"—that's basically my internal monologue whenever I do anything in a LARP. And you sort of spun-flopped over, such that the most vivid recollection I have of you is you with this agonized doubleyouteeeff expression on your face.

Though at this point the saying is trite, that's "the bomb".

Be well.
