I knew 8 (though it's actually Indigo Girls with Joan Baez, Kristen :-) ), 13, and 17 before reading Kristen's reply.

1 is that song by Green Day whose title I don't remember.

10 is Scarborough Fair, the line is from the Garfunkel-penned (yes, Garfunkel) countermelody.

amd 5 is REM, "Man on the Moon" (though I think it's "gall"--i'll check the sheet music later)

It depends on the version. The radio play version has "gall" but at least some versions have "balls."
