Tamarind Tree is doing an amazing fifth anniversary lunch special. Each week, they have 5 different dishes on $5 lunch special (including weekends). These are full-sized entrees at a relatively upscale fancy Vietnamese. I went today and had papaya salad, a porkchop, and broken rice and it was fucking fantastic. If you live in or visit Seattle, you really owe it to yourself to take advantage of this while they're still doing it. Remember that, even though it's discounted, it's still a fancy meal, so tip your server well.
