I am awash in words, golden webs, heartstrands, masks, chains and blood. On the left stands death and on the right victory. The book is blank, but I already know the words. Each to each we claim Lingshan as our homeland, you and I. If English shall die, it shall die in glory, alight in fires of hatred, and burn the hand of the burner.

Let it never be said that I do not love my mother tongue.

A strange little book which you would probably like. In English (the way I still have to read it, sadly) as "Soul Mountain." Won the Nobel Prize.
