I'm in Shanghai.

I have a job interview in Beijing in a week, and I want to swing by HK before then. Yikes.

I have more job applications to send off.

I am sad that the return of my blog didn't make the RPG Theory review. Guess I'll have to try harder.

So I spent the last two days in Shanghai hanging out with Erick Wujcik and chatting about games. A very interesting experience.

I asked about the possibilities of video game design jobs, and he said he'd put me in touch with some Chinese companies. So that's a possibility.

It's interesting to get a whole new perspective on things at a moment when I'm feeling semi-alienated from my present design community. (Don't make a huge deal of this -- it's pretty much just a cyclical thing.)

Also, Maps just went boom, I think. Good sort of boom.
