I’m working on a new print form of Bliss Stage (w/ art! I hope!). My rough target date is May. That’s very ambitious, but I think it can be done. There’s not a lot of textual revision to make, so the main barriers are art, new layout, and printing money.
I was wondering if people who have played the game and like it a lot would be interested in writing essays about the game. The names that come immediately to mind for are Mark, Elliot, Seth, Alexis, and Carl, but I know a lot of other people have played the game a fair amount and might have something to say on it. Like to have Seth writing about “Play the War,” or the intersection of his Christianity with the themes of his play, or the Anchor console he built, would be awesome. To have Elliot write about chat-room play, or playing the game repeatedly, or the game’s tropes, or mashings-up would be cool. To have Alexis write about how to pick and frame interlude scenes would be cool.
So, do you want to write an essay for the book? I can’t promise money, but you’ll be credited and I’ll give you a contributor’s copy. If you’re interested, e-mail me. You don’t necessarily have to have a topic in mind, I’m happy to give you one.
The deadline for this would be the end of November. I can’t promise you it’ll get included in the book (I have to maintain authority over all content) but I’ll do my best to make sure it is.

And also yes?
Did I mention yes?
Specifically on chatroom play and/or drawing from pop culture.
