For those of you who are involved with The Project -- you must comment, so that I know that all my words are not empty howlings into a careless void. I am not Garet, content to write only to an imaginary colleague across time and space. I crave feedback, and recognition.

For those of you who might be interested in The Project let me know.

I should have more time to read now that finals are over, especially once Aralis is done for the month as well. I look forward to being able to explore and comment.

It's also difficult to decide what direction the work should go in having read only introductory passages. How could I know whether the Preamble should continue to exist, or should be a preamble or postscript, without being able to contextualize it within the work as a whole?

This is true, and I shouldn't be so harsh on y'all. That said, there should be enough flaming grammatical and stylistic errors to occupy even the staunchest non-interventionalists...

This does raise an interesting question. I have roughly 20,000 words of text. Is it more useful to post it all at once, allowing readers to browse through it and comment piece by piece with more context? Or is it more useful to post it a few sections at a time, trying to focus on each section in turn?

*mulls*

I would say that you're likely to get a different sort of feedback, depending on how you update the journal. I find it easier to read everything when it's posted in small chunks, but harder to comment.

Consider yourself hooked in. You should be able to read everything now.
