Get in touch with Michael and Kat Miller's Indie Games Explosion sooner rather than later. This will help the publishers a lot, but it will also nigh-ensure attendance for your game (we will be advertising the games at the Forge booth, which is one of the most popular retailer booths in the convention.)
Even if you're only just thinking of going to GenCon (and please, do!), it's better to sign up now and cancel.
