So today was pretty sad.

Primary order of sadness: My computer is breaking down again, same mysterious problems that it was having in June. It's really hard to express how much this shakes me up. With some much unstable and uncertain in my life, my computer is really the only space I have organized. Not only that, but it's my source of income and communication with the English-speaking world.

Secondary order of sadness: I spent all day trying to get money. I finally did (I cleaned out my US account, so now I am carrying on my person all my money in the world, which is slightly scary.) As a consequence of this, I didn't eat until it was dark. This made me grumpy, frustrated, and tired.

Relief of sadness #1: Managed to do some rocking Nine Worlds play with Matt and Thomas despite computer trouble.

Relief of sadness #2: Parents will help me get the money together to fix computer, provided I pay it back once I have an income.

Relief of sadness #3: Jin, Nick's Roommate who I am staying with, is the awesomest girl ever. She not only gave me the card on the only Apple repair place in Beijing, but also told me it was okay to stay a couple of extra days to sort this out, and loaned me an old PC for use in the meantime. I'm calling the Pope and asking for her to be beatified, at least. Patron saint of broke expats.

So, up and down.

Man, I hope it works out with that pesky computer!

But, it WAS a rocking session!

Dang, mang. Good luck with income ("you be lucky-lucky, make lot of money", my grandma would say.)

I think I'm okay on getting a job, actually. It's a question of:

1) Making due until then.
2) Solving the computer problem.

Have you considered setting up preorders for Drifter's Escape or Bliss Stage? =P It would also motivate you to finish a project while bringing in noodle money.

The other option of course, would be to net-beg with a donate button via paypal =P

The Polaris pre-orders were way too much of a pain in my butt to ever do that again. I'd rather buy a jump-drive and write in internet cafes.

Jump-drives are sensible investments in any case. Having a backup of your writing material wherever you go is handy.
