So when I first got to China, I found a six of hearts lying on the ground outside the hotel.

About a week later, I found a six of clubs on my walk to school.

Just yesterday I found a six of hearts on the street in front of this internet cafe.

People with better Tarot-fu than me -- interpretations?

Well, according to what I learned from Mathiesen, six is the number of quests, discoveries, personal journeys, exploration and so forth. Clubs are Wands: intuition, creativity, passion. Hearts are Cups: emotion and so forth, all the things I shun wildly.


So, yeah. I'd *guess* it means that you're discovering the, y'know, squishy touchy-feely aspects of yourself that you weren't fully in touch with before, and trying new creative stuff along the way.

I'm going to ignore the Number of the Beast thing implied in the title, as I find it unlikely that Nero Caesar is going to bother you.

Six of Cups - essentially, the beginning of new interpersonal and emotional relationships. Because of the inherent nature of the emotions to derive substance from the past, the six of cups can often mean an old friendship or relationship returning from the past as well. Reversed, it signifies a tendency to dwell on the past, an inability to move on to new people, and disappointment with the old.

Six of Wands - wands being creative energy (and somewhat combative by nature,) the entire suit is about striving towards new things, and executes a cunning reversal at the six. The six of wands signifies victory, good news, the fruits of past labor, the realization of goals and desires. Reversed, it is the delay of those goals, or their misuse (pride.)

So the Tarotverse feels that you are pretty awesome at the moment, apparently, or at least could be at any moment. It's been yelling at me pretty loud too; in the last 36 hours I've actually found 9 (!) cards, in three separate batches. Lotsa pentacles, mostly, a king of cups, a two of rods, and naturally, some swords. Boy do I love them swords. Just can't stay away.
