Apparently there's a bit of a thing going around about bad reviews. Here's a great article I totally agree with, particularly the parts about how an author no longer owns a work once it's before the public. I also just wanted to take the opportunity to quote, in its entirety, my favorite bad review of Polaris.

"The entire concept of Polaris utterly repels me."
