I finished my program
I'm sad. I wish I could stay and study here for a year. I feel like I was just starting to get my feet under me and then it was over.
I'll miss my classmates (mostly) and my teachers (all of them). I will miss my summer crushes. I'll miss Taibei, which is a pretty awesome city that I would gladly live in given the chance. I will miss the chance to study Chinese all day, every day.
My Chinese level has improved markedly. I started this quarter not really being able to read comics. I am now able to blunder my way through YA-level novels (just started reading Spice and Wolf volume 1 today.)
I hope to come back to Taiwan someday soon (sadly not in the next year, due to visa overstay.)
