An excellent parody
In other news, this is largely why I don't consider most video games to be important games as designs (clearly, they can be important for social and other reasons.) They are simply too complicated to contain any grace in design. Design problems are considered interface problems, rather than fundamental problems, and the guts are often so complicated as to defy any sort of rational design at all.
There are, of course, some exceptions. Street Fighter II, Tetris, Katamari Damacy, etc.
