So there's this French game that's also called Polaris. I've known about it for about a year, but I wasn't really concerned about it because it was:
1) In French only.
2) Out of print.

I did try to get the author's e-mail. Repeatedly, through multiple channels, and failed. Oh well, I guess, and moved on.

Just today I got an e-mail from the author of the game saying "Uhm... I'm rewriting and rereleasing the game in both French and English. This could be a problem."

Me: Oh fuck!

But, hey! It turns out that Phillipe Tessier (that's the guy) is a really great guy, and doesn't mind if I use the name, as long as I give it a subtitle (which I already have: Chivalric Tragedy at Utmost North.)

Man, that's a weight off my shoulders... And when Polaris: Dawn of the Geneticists comes out, I'll totally be first in line for a copy.
