GenCon in a Nutshell

Friday night at dinner, Vincent Baker (author of a great many fine role-playing games, the finest of which, Dogs in the Vineyard, just came out, and one of my design idols) and says something like "your contributions at the Forge are staggering" in a somewhat off-hand way.

Hanging out with my idols, and learning that they are not just ordinary people, but totally cool people, was just amazing.

Making $150 off the No-Press weren't half-bad either.

And Calder is the best drinking buddy in the world.

And Now, Berkeley

I am living in this little enchanted garden house full of artists and dogs, both of which have their up and down sides. I have just installed a wireless card. None of the bay area people I know have gotten in touch with me. Polaris moves like an avalanche, and I am tired.
