Joy

Joy is watching Shaenon Garrity end Narbonic by finally putting all the pieces into place.

Watching her artwork evolve from "crude but spirited" into "brilliantly expressive" as one reads through the archives isn't completely joy, but some sort of experimental joy/happiness alloy.

Oh yes. I love that experience of watching a work-in-progress ... progress. Also makes me treasure the pieces I bought from her way back when a whole bunch.

I think that particular emotion ... "joy in watching growth happen"? ... is a big driver in many areas of my life.
